It's kind of unfair for the driver.

even they aren't criminal, because they somewhat involve or met the person who died, they are both need to be asked for further details. it was protocol in Police dept. Take them as witnesses.

That was a sad but peaceful death, sleeping in a car while hearing it pouring outside, never waking up again.

Pretty good. A rando playing soccer with the notorious group that nobody has been seen playing with before, this was bound to happen.

what an awful episode. yall can skip this shit. neither of those two did anything wrong. if she had let go of that tablet instead of trying to steal it she wouldn't have gotten smacked with it. she did all that talking and moving around but couldn't call the police or an ambulance? fuck outta here with that shit.

Sailor Jupiter • 1 year ago

What part of bashing someone over the head or hitting them with your car then lying to the police about it is ok?

james trenton • 1 year ago

nothin wrong with bashing the person who tried to steal your tablet. he did not lie about driving into anyone. he wasn't asked if he hit anyone with his truck and she walked away after that so he had no reason to think her death had anything to do with him. when he was asked he told the truth. simple

strange guy • 1 year ago

I mean she hit her regardless though

james trenton • 1 year ago

self defense

strange guy • 1 year ago

Still she should have controlled her emotions

james trenton • 1 year ago

she was controlling her aim pretty well when she smacked her right in the temple. it can hardly get better than that.

Well this might be a little wrong. Just in my opinion, though I'm no law expert:

I would imagine that technically they did nothing wrong, but this isn't particularly the case. I would say the girl is possibly guilty of involuntary manslaughter, but there is one catch and I think that's what basically makes it not.

Technically, she did strike the first blow on the victim. Though, it does look like the victim was approaching her in such a way that could indicate self defense I guess.

The problem with the self defense claim though is she did instigate the physical altercation with the victim though, as she grabbed at her tablet to get it back and started the fight over it physically. Even though she was trying to get her tablet back, it is most likely not justifiable that she physically injure the other party and then leave the scene of the altercation like that.

I don't think it would be considered an accidental killing either, because she definitely inflicted an injury and then willingly left the scene. Even though she did not think that the victim would've died from the injury, she was still the one to start and cause the injury, and the injury did lead to the victim's death.

I'm honestly not sure how they'd go about this though. I do not think this can be considered , but it also didn't look like they were going about it that way, and instead playing it off as an accidental killing, because there is hard proof that the victim did actually regain consciousness and could have actually went to the hospital for treatment, but instead decided to go back and sit in the car, and then died from the injuries shortly after.

So I think because the victim didn't die at the scene of the altercation (which then would've definitely mean the girl was the cause of her death), I think because the victim willingly did not seek medical attention that the girl is probably not guilty of manslaughter but maybe it could be some other charge. Though by the looks of the ending of the episode it seems like the police won't do much else.

Once again, not a legal expert. But just from my point of view that's what it looks like.

your wrong if you think they got arrested. Police protocol to asked for futher details to anyone involve in any incident. Thus, they are much more called witnesses. Did you see them handcuffed? no right?
